Charlotte Mathews-Nelson, program co-ordinator for Northeastern Law School’s Center for Law, Equity and Race (CLEAR), was featured in an article published by the Boston Globe that looked back on 1982 NAACP Convention, the last time it was held in Boston.
The retrospective also discussed the work of many activists and organizers, including Ms. Mathews-Nelson.
The 2023 NAACP National Convention was held in Boston, July 26 – August 1, the first time the city has hosted the conference since the 1980s.
